Not simply by joining wires. A passive power or sensor splitter does not provide Ethernet switching, regeneration or protocol conversion. Identify the exact communication protocol and use its permitted topology, cable construction, termination and length limits. Any specialized passive breakout must be documented for its specific purpose and must not be assumed to create additional network ports.
