Do not assume so. Check the rating for the exact assembly and whether it requires all connectors to be correctly mated or fitted with specified sealing caps. Cable entry dimensions, seals, installation method and environmental exposure also matter. A generic dust cover is not evidence of the same protection as the qualified mating or capped configuration.
